Prospective presents works on paper by ten emerging artists in the Boston area.  On view at Muskat Studios Gallery from Dec. 4, 2021 through Feb. 5, 2022, the exhibition includes work by Maya Greenfield, Josh Cortez, Constantinos Psyllos, Valerie Cervantes, Maxine Bell, Juliette Crisafi, Rebecca Welch, Rocky Prull, Subin Cho, and Lex Morris_Wright.

Cervantes and Bell are both showing books, dealing with the heart and emotions though very different in approach and structure: Cervantes has a unique two-sided artist’s book; Bell is showing a Risograph zine on Love.  Psyllos is showing two monoprints from a series developed over the past year, while Prull, Cho, and Morris-Wright are all presenting relief prints, exploring ideas of home, self, or quarantine life.  Greenfield’s “Seagull King” stares directly at the viewer – capturing the audacious personality of a gull.  Crisafi’s black and white market scene is a study in pattern and perspective.  Welch and Cortez present imaginative works mixing black and white and color, figurative and landscape respectively.

Several of the artists have included unframed, shrinkwrapped work for the print stands.  Stop by and celebrate these young artists!
